How micropchipping works

The code embedded in the microchip is unique to your pet and once entered onto the national database is the most fail safe way to ensure your pet finds their way home if they are lost. All veterinary clinics and animal shelters have a scanner which detects the chip under your pets’ skin. The code can then be entered onto the database to identify the name, address and phone number of the owner to ensure you and your pet are reunited.
